Catalpa tree
The flowers on our Catalpa have blossomed, and now after a few days have past since these photo many are rotting on the lawn (so sticky).
Catalpa nectar is pretty good, before bugs like to use the flowers for their young. My childhood friend and I used to eat (there isn’t much per flower, so I’ll just say “eat” rather than drink) the nectar each summer when we’d see each other. Guess you could say that’s one of the last things I have to remember him by (he moved away 7 years ago).
